Executive Board
The Executive Board is responsible for the management and administration of the entire University.
Composition of the Executive Board

1st term: 1 November 2025 - 31 October 2029
Luc Sels is responsible for the university’s overall strategy and leadership.

1st term: 1 March 2025 - 28 February 2029
Timo Kos is responsible for finances, real estate, ICT and research infrastructure, HRM, and safety and security at the university. He is also the point of contact for Campus The Hague.

2nd term: 8 February 2025 - 14 January 2026
Hester Bijl is responsible for the teaching and research at the university. Professorial appointments and academic integrity are also part of the teaching portfolio. Hester Bijl is also the point of contact for LERU, Una Europa and the development of the Leiden Bio Science Park.
