Over the centuries, contributions from external parties have been indispensable to the University in maintaining the quality of its research and teaching.
Leiden University is grateful for the support it gets. We hope that in future we will continue to be able to call on people who have a special place in their hearts for us. There are various ways in which you can support Leiden University, as an alumnus or involved otherwise, by opening up your network, sharing jobn positions and internships, coaching young alumni of supporting the University financially. You can also help by doing voluntary work or letting your organisation collaborate with the university.
Financial support for education, research and projects
As the University and our funds have charitable status, your gift will not be subject to tax and will be donated in full to your chosen beneficiary. You can deduct the sum from your income or corporation tax.
You can also include Leiden University in your will. The University is exempt from inheritance tax on acquisitions from testamentary provisions.
