Objective

To raise funds for the reconstruction of the organ in the Grand Auditorium in the Academy Building of Leiden University.

Policy

Musical accompaniment of inaugural lectures, valedictory lectures and other academic ceremonies by the organists of Musicians of the Academy Organ on the organ in the Great Auditorium.

Organise walk-in concerts every week in April, May and June by the Musicians of the Academy Organ organists and guest organists on the organ in the Great Auditorium, sometimes also together with instrumentalists or vocalists, which are open to everyone.

Allowance

An allowance applies per organ session for the volunteers from the Great Auditorium Organ Foundation, according to the duration and number of hours of rehearsals and including, if desired, a travel allowance.

For concerts, a fixed fee per unit of time applies unless otherwise agreed and, if desired, a travel allowance.

This also applies to instrumentalists and vocalists.

The board of the Great Auditorium Organ Foundation is unpaid and only receives compensation for expenses incurred such as travel expenses.
