Joris Larik is universitair docent vergelijkend, EU- en internationaal recht. Hij is gespecialiseerd op het recht van de externe betrekkingen van de EU en mondiaal bestuur. Zijn onderzoek werd bekroond met verschillende onderscheidingen, waaronder de Manfred Wörner Essay Award van de NAVO en de Mauro Cappelletti-prijs van het Europees Universitair Instituut voor het beste proefschrift in vergelijkend recht. Dr. Larik is de auteur van "Foreign Policy Objectives in European Constitutional Law" (OUP 2016) en co-auteur van "ASEAN’s External Agreements" (CUP 2015) en mederedacteur van “Just Security in an Undergoverned World” (OUP 2018) en “EU External Relations Law: Text, Cases and Materials” (2e editie, Hart Publishing 2020).
