The Leiden University Campus Protocol lists the measures and guidelines that apply within the University to ensure the safety of our students and staff and reduce the risk of a further spread of the virus.
Please note: Coronavirus measures from 15 January
At the press conference on Friday 14 January, the government announced that in-person teaching is possible again at the University. Students can find more information about their timetable on Brightspace. Face masks are now compulsory in all room. The Campus Protocol will be changed to reflect this. For the current measures, see the update from 14 January.
This document is based on the guidelines of the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), the measures of the Government of the Netherlands and the Protocol for Resuming Activities at Universities from the Universities of the Netherlands association together with previously adopted protocols for research, teaching and business operations during corona. The Campus Protocol applies to all our students and staff, and to all our buildings in Leiden and The Hague. This protocol is a supplement to the rules for buildings and must be followed. Please note: the LUMC may have different or stricter guidelines, to ensure safe patient care.
