The Leiden University Campus Protocol lists the measures and guidelines that apply within the University to ensure the safety of our students and staff and reduce the risk of a further spread of the virus.
UPDATE: we will be able to provide (limited) in-person teaching from 26 April. Students will hear from their degree programme when and for which teaching they can come to the university. Study advisers, lecturers and study associations will also be able to book rooms for extracurricular activities. Lecturers and other staff members will therefore be able to come to university locations for teaching and student support. We would urge our office staff to continue to work from home where you can. See here for more information on the eased restrictions from 26 April.
The Campus Protocol below will continue to apply to all our buildings. Always do the corona check before you come to the university.
This document is based on the guidelines of the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), the measures of the Government of the Netherlands and the Protocol for Resuming Activities at Universities from the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) together with previously adopted protocols for research, teaching and business operations during corona. The Campus Protocol applies to all our students and staff, including students and staff in the LUMC teaching building, and to all our buildings in Leiden and The Hague. This protocol is a supplement to the rules for buildings and must be followed.
