Accessibility is one of the priorities of our D&I policy. It is not only about physical accessibility of the university buildings, but also digital accessibility. Are you a student with a disability? Fenestra Disability Centre offers help and support. Staff members with a disability can go to their supervisor, Human Resources advisor and the university HR coaches (firstname.lastname@example.org or 071 527 3193).
Combating sexual harassment
Leiden University aims to ensure a safe learning and working environment. Sexual harassment has no place in our university community. Read more about it in the Sexual harassment brochure. If you want to report sexual harassment, you can do so with the student psychologists (email@example.com) and the confidential counselors (firstname.lastname@example.org).
There are now all-gender toilets in many of our buildings and more will gradually be added.

If you are looking for a lactation room on campus, you will find one in various University buildings, as listed here. You can collect the key from the reception in your building unless otherwise stated. The reception will give you directions to the room. All lactation rooms have a refrigerator and can be locked from inside.
There are quiet rooms at various University locations, which you can use for mediation and prayer. These are open to students and staff. See this overview of all quiet rooms on our campuses in Leiden and The Hague.
