Annual Progress Interviews by the Graduate School
Organized by the GSA, all internal PhD students annually have a personal progress interview: the Annual Review.
The annual progress review is meant to monitor PhDs students ‘from a distance’, and is executed by staff members who are not directly involved in the project and preferably work in a different field. It addresses research progress and set up, supervision (quality), and training program. It has proven to be beneficial in several respects for PhD students to be monitored ‘from a distance’ and collect recommendations for improvement.
