Private online courses

A Small Private Online Course (SPOC) is an online academic subject for a limited group of participants.

A SPOC is only accessible for a limited number of participants, and in most cases those wanting to take part have to apply. Unlike with  Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) participation is not necessarily free.  Because they are more exclusive, SPOCs offer more opportunity for discussion and personal attention.
