The world in your backyard

Studying in The Hague broadens your perspective on the world and quickly gives you an international network. And in addition to housing the Netherlands’ ministries and government bodies, many big companies are also headquartered there. Plenty of internship opportunities then. And in our The Hague Campus you can follow lectures given by professionals from the real world. Studying in a city full of embassies, multinationals and international courts certainly has its advantages!

City at the sea

Fancy catching some rays, or just chilling by the sea? With 11 kilometres of beaches almost in your backyard it’s not difficult to conjure up that holiday feeling in The Hague. And in the summer there are some great beach parties going on there.

Social activities

All our programmes in The Hague have their own study association, and there are also student associations. These organise study trips, lectures and numerous social activities. This means that students quickly make friends and start to build a network that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

If you have spare time on your hands, there is so much to see in The Hague. Such as the Peace Palace, the Mauritshuis, Noordeinde Palace, the Binnenhof, Madurodam and the Pier.

Going out

Finished an exam, or just feeling the urge to let your hair down after a hard day’s studying? In The Hague you’ll find plenty of places where you can do just that. Like Millers or Danzig on the square, for example, or you can go with friends to Paard van Troje (Trojan Horse), a celebrated local pop temple near the Grote Markt. And remember, Thursday evening is student evening.
