Maker Space

The Maker Space in Huizinga 0.11f is a creative environment where students and researchers can access a professional 3D scanner, 3D printer, and a camera-based scanning system for high-quality text and image digitisation.

Scanning and Digitization Workstation

A scanning and digitization workstation is available in the Maker Space (part of the Digital Lab). This is intended for students and staff to learn, research, and experiment with digitization technologies and equipment. It consists of a high-quality digital camera and stand, and a connected workstation running Ubuntu with a full suite of open-source scanning and digitization software.
