As an alumnus of Leiden University, you can sport at the discounted employee rate at the Leiden University Sports Centre (USC). This offers a nice discount on the regular general membership. The sports centre has facilities in both Leiden and The Hague and offers a wide range of sports including tennis, fitness, yoga and kickboxing.

As a USC member, you can do all sorts of fitness and strength training in one of the gyms, not only at Einsteinweg but also at Plex-Fit in the centre of Leiden and at the branch in The Hague. The USC also offers over 55 sports in a class timetable: from ballet to zumba, from yoga to spinning and from pole fitness to boxing. And you can swim for free at reserved times in the De Zijl and Het Vijf Meibad pools in Leiden. Members can also book rooms or fields for casual practice.
