Wouter Jong (1972) promoveerde in 2019 aan de Universiteit van Tilburg op leiderschap van burgemeesters tijdens crises. Hij is adviseur op het gebied van crisisbeheersing en crisis communicatie. Namens VNG International is hij betrokken bij rampenbestrijdingsprojecten op Sint Maarten en in het Midden-Oosten.

Wouter Jong (1972) promoveerde in 2019 aan de Universiteit van Tilburg op leiderschap van burgemeesters tijdens crises. Hij is adviseur op het gebied van crisisbeheersing en crisis communicatie. Namens VNG International is hij betrokken bij rampenbestrijdingsprojecten op Sint Maarten en in het Midden-Oosten.
Sinds 2018 geeft hij het vak Crisis Communication bij het Institute of Security and Global Affairs aan de Universiteit Leiden.
