Sarah Giest is universitair docent aan het Instituut Bestuurskunde van de Universiteit Leiden. Sarah haar onderzoek richt zich op de beleidsanalyse van beleidsinstrumenten en de capaciteit tot innovatie, technologie en duurzaamheid. Bijvoorbeeld bij het gebruik van big data voor duurzaamheidsbeleid of de mogelijkheden voor de overheid om te innoveren in de stedelijke omgeving.
