Bart Barendregt is hoogleraar Antropologie van de Digitale Diversiteit aan het Instituut voor Culturele Antropologie en Ontwikkelingssociologie van de Universiteit Leiden. Hij is de hoofdonderzoeker van het NWO-VICI project One Among Zeroes |0100|, UNESCO Leerstoelhouder Anthropology of Digital Diversity en decaan van de Graduate School. Daarnaast is hij decaan van de Faculteit Sociale Wetenschappen.
