Daan Weggemans is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Institute for Security and Global Affairs (ISGA). His research focuses on contemporary security issues, with a specific emphasis on digital security. He has previously published on extremism and terrorism, including the (legal) case of Anders Behring Breivik and the de-radicalisation and reintegration of extremists. Additionally, he is a board member of the bachelor's programme in Cybersecurity & Cybercrime.
