Cyber Security Governance
The research group Cyber Security Governance will provide cutting-edge academic research in the domain of cyber, where modern technology interacts with traditional concepts such as governance, sovereignty, law-enforcement, international relations and conflict. The Cyber Security Governance research group conducts leading academic research at the intersection of cyberspace and traditional governance concepts, such as sovereignty, law enforcement, international relations and conflict. The group investigates how modern technology influences these domains and provides valuable insights for both academia and policy makers. By combining a risk approach with a social science perspective, it investigates how cyber influences (international) society and how complex cyber issues can be addressed by governments, NGOs and companies. The research group aims to contribute to the international academic debate on cyber governance and regulation, while at the same time providing policy-relevant insights to decision makers.
