Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA)
Practicum Musicae is one of the programmes at the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA). ACPA brings together art and knowledge, conducting research and providing education in the arts – not only music but also the visual arts. It is a partnership between Leiden University and the University of the Arts The Hague.
The brand-new Practicum Musicae Orchestra (PMO) will be playing for you. The talented students from the orchestra will treat you to a varied and sparkling performance. PMO was recently started as a platform where Practicum Musicae students can play together, and other musicians can also join in. The orchestra is conducted by Aafko Boonstra, who is studying to be a conductor at Practicum Musicae.
The concert is free. Buy a drink at the bar during the break or bring your own: a bottle of bubbly and some bites, for instance. Feel free to don your best party outfit! We’ll roll out the red carpet for you.
