Always wanted to visit the ‘Sweat Room’ in the Academy Building? Intrigued by the story of the recently restored P.J. Veth building? Fancy seeing the inside of the seventeenth-century Bibliotheek Thysiana? From 23 July to 23 August you will have the chance to do just that because to mark its 444th anniversary, Leiden University is giving exclusive tours of these buildings. For only € 4.44, a student will give you a tour of these historic buildings, which aren’t normally open to the public. Coffee/tea is included.
