If you are somebody who likes to keep fit while you study, The Hague’s 11 kilometres of coastline are just about perfect for all beach and sea sports: from flying your kite in Kijkduin to surfing in Scheveningen. If it’s not beach weather, no problem. You can practise nearly every sport in The Hague, even lacrosse and snowboarding! If you play sport at an international level and you’d like to combine it with your master’s, at Leiden University we can give you personal guidance to develop your sporting talents. We have a dedicated sports counsellor for our top-level sportsmen and sportswomen and we also offer additional studying facilities.

Beehive offers Extensive sports facilities. Students and staff can attend group lessons for, among others, yoga and gladiator and make use of a modern fitness room. There you will find free weights and top-of-the-range equipment for cardio and strength exercise that can be completely personalised. Your eGym account remembers your settings and training levels and provides for different methods and a more varied training routine.
