The Institute of Public Administration
The Institute of Public Administration is one of the largest and oldest institutes of academic research and teaching in the field of public administration in the Netherlands and is located in The Hague. The institute combines a solid international academic reputation with a central positioning among the international, national, regional and local governance institutions of The Hague.
The research programme of the institute is concentrated on the analysis of politics and administration of institutional change. The five research chairs European Governance, International Governance, Public Sector Management, Comparative Public Sector Reform and Public Affairs & Public Policy bring together researchers with a common profile.
The Institute of Public Administration offers a Dutch Bachelor's Programme in Public Administration supplemented with the specialisations Policy, Public Administration and Organisation, Digitalisation, Public Administration and Society and Economics, Public Administration and Management.
The master’s programmes offered by the Institute of Public Administration are the Dutch Master Management of the Public Sector and the English Master Public Administration.
