About

The seeds of the Academia in Motion (AiM) programme were planted by two interdisciplinary working groups: one on Open Science and another on Recognition and Rewards.

Their recommendations are summarised in two reports:

• Creating and circulating Knowledge in Resilient Societies: Open Science at Leiden University
• Change vision for Recognition & Rewards at Leiden University

Following these reports, AiM was set up to bring together the closely-related themes of Open Science and Recognition & Rewards.
