Innovative diagnostics and treatments

Hoe meer we leren over een (neuro-)psychologische of lichamelijke aandoening en de hieraan gerelateerde gedragsfactoren, hoe beter we deze niet alleen kunnen signaleren, maar ook behandelen. Het is dus belangrijk dat recente inzichten over (neuro-)psychologische problemen en daaraan gerelateerde gedragsfactoren verwerkt worden in nieuwe procedures in de klinische diagnostiek en behandeling.

In de projecten in deze pijler worden innovatieve methodes ontwikkeld om (neuro-)psychologische problemen en hieraan gerelateerde gedragsfactoren beter te herkennen, te diagnosticeren en te behandelen. Dit gebeurt op basis van de meest recente kennis, opgedaan uit fundamenteel onderzoek. De hier ontwikkelde methodes worden in een volgende stap geëvalueerd en mogelijk geïmplementeerd in de klinische praktijk.
