Bram Klievink is hoogleraar bestuurskunde, met speciale aandacht voor digitalisering en publiek beleid. Zijn interesse in onderzoek en onderwijs gaat uit naar de interactie tussen digitalisering en de overheid. Zijn onderzoek gaat over hoe digitale innovaties de gevestigde praktijken en instituties van openbaar bestuur uitdagen en hoe digitalisering kan worden gebruikt in nieuwe bestuurlijke arrangementen voor het digitale tijdperk. Huidig onderzoek omvat onder andere projecten over het gebruik van big data en algoritmen in een context van openbaar bestuur.
