Constitutional and administrative law
Research
The Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law is active in many areas.
Staff participate in the faculty research programmes and research focus areas, as well as the university’s research profile areas. The department is also successful in attracting funding for research as well as commissioned projects. Our researchers regularly publish work in both national and international forums and participate in various national and international networks.
Broad research areas and specialist expertise
Colleagues from the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law consider constitutional and administrative law from a broad perspective and share an interest in interdisciplinarity and research methods.
The department’s research examines general issues within the field of constitutional and administrative law, with a particular specialist focus on constitutional culture, digital administrative law, European administrative law, financial administrative law, (social) fundamental rights, environmental law, government liability, political constitutional law, legal protection and the social domain.
New talent
The department attaches great importance to innovations in research and to nurturing new talent. We endeavour to offer opportunities to young teaching staff and researchers for writing research proposals and, if possible, conducting the research. The department aims to achieve this by creating an inspiring research climate where researchers (including external PhD candidates) work together and share information.
