Research

The vision of the Business & Law Research Network (BLRN) is that company and insolvency law should facilitate and ignite societal collaboration and cooperation, to serve economic development and societal interests. Law should therefore be closely aligned with socio-economic developments, which requires continuous monitoring of the interaction between legal principles, positive law and legal practice. New developments require a re-evaluation of the existing regulations and their application, which is essential to address new questions and resolve legal conflicts and ambiguities.

Our approach

Our approach allows us to provide state of the art research in company and insolvency law. We study companies in both good and bad financial times, in domestic and cross-border contexts. We are progressive in our approach to law and business, and combine traditional legal research methods with empirical legal studies and comparative legal research.
