The LUCL is an institute within the Faculty of Humanities at Leiden University that combines linguistic research and teaching, with a growing focus on AI research.

The Dutch Language Institute (INT)

The INT is the leading Dutch-language institute for knowledge, infrastructure, and research. It is responsible for creating, enriching, and maintaining text and language corpora, lexical databases, and grammatical descriptions, and for making them accessible to research, teaching, and language users in general through digital tools. The INT increasingly employs LLMs to enhance the lexicographical workflow and to explore methods for evaluating and improving LLMs and tools based on them.
