Board of Examiners
The main task of the Board of Examiners is to determine whether a student fulfils the conditions laid down in the Course Regulations regarding the knowledge, understanding and skills required to pass the relevant final examination. The Board of Examiners has to determine this in an objective manner.
Course Regulations
The Course Regulations specify which rules apply for students who are following Honours education (Pre-University College, Pre-University Classes, Honours College, Bachelor Honours Classes, Master Honours Classes and (International) Leiden Leadership Programme).
The Board of Examiners handles individual requests to make exceptions to the rules in the Course Regulations. For instance, students who are experiencing a delay in their studies due to personal, medical or family circumstances can contact the Board of Examiners.
