The strategy of the Faculty Governance and Global Affairs

Strategy 2020-2025

In December 2019 the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs launched its strategy 2020-2025. Read more about it here. 

Follow-up strategy plan 2026-2030

The current Strategisch Plan FGGA expires after 2025. Therefore, the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs is renewing the plan for expansion, up and until Leiden University established the new Strategic plan at university level. From then on, all faculties will continue in the same rhythm.

Together with the institute boards and and the centre directors, supported by the heads of the faculty office, the faculty board chose six themes. Small writing teams will create content on these matters. The themes are:

• Consolidation strategy 2020-2025
• Recognition and reward / Academia in Motion
• Profiling areas Leiden University
• Strategic growth (including internationalization, Brussels strategy and funding ambitions)
• The campus as our working environment
• AI, as a cross-cutting theme
