What does this master’s programme entail?
This master’s programme explores how cutting-edge technologies from both physics knowledge and physics measurements drive innovation in the high-tech industry. You will study the development of advanced optical and other measurement systems, environmental control precision instrumentation, their physics foundation but also the interdisciplinary technologies that are vital to knowledge-intensive sectors and industry.
Beyond deepening your expertise in physics, you will gain interdisciplinary knowledge and skills from astronomy, chemistry, mathematics, and physics, making this a unique specialisation that enables you to contribute to the development and design novel technologies and instruments with integrated software and hardware solutions. This prepares you to apply your knowledge directly to high-tech engineering challenges in an industrial setting.
