The High-Tech Innovation specialisation is designed for students who want to make an impact on the interface of science and technology. This unique programme combines in-depth research training in the students' primary scientific discipline with interdisciplinary skills that are crucial in high-tech environments such as the semiconductor industry, in nano-fabrication, and in relation to precision instrumentation.
Students will gain hands-on experience by working with leading industry partners in the heart of the Leiden Bio Science Park—one of Europe’s most prominent science and innovation hubs – the Leiden Quantum Hub and many other local high technology companies.
