Do you want to go for a full academic programme? In that case, the next step after obtaining your bachelor’s is a master’s degree (MSc or MA) at a Dutch or international university. Leiden University has around 70 study disciplines which together offer 250 different master's specialisations. You can choose to follow a MA or MSc programme that has a connection with your BSc degree, or alternatively, you can choose to do a research master’s programme. Please note that that for a master’s you will generally have to go through an admission and/or selection procedure.

Master's programmes elsewhere in the Netherlands

You can also continue your studies at another Dutch university. Examples of programmes with a good fit are Sustainable Development (Utrecht University), Environmental Sciences or Urban Environmental Management (Wageningen University & Research), Sustainability, Science, Policy and Society (Maastricht University) and Sustainable Entrepreneurship (University of Groningen).
