Bachelor's Open Day
During the Bachelor's Open Day in Leiden and The Hague you will learn more about Leiden University, our bachelor's programmes, the student cities of Leiden and The Hague, student life and much more. Visit the sessions of the study programme that you find interesting, talk or chat with students, ask your questions to teachers and get a taste of the university atmosphere.
Take a look at the videos with the main information about each study programme. Watching the videos on your favourite study programmes beforehand will give you a head start on the Open Day.
Q&A sessions

Experience Days
During an Experience Day you can take part in the programme of your choice. You will follow a short programme presentation and take part in an active way in a lecture and/or tutorial. During this event you meet our staff and students, who are available to answer all your questions. In this way you get familiar with the programme and the way of education at our university.
Student for a Day
During the Student for a Day event you will explore our campus, follow one or more real lectures, and get meet our students and some of our teachers. You will also have the opportunity to ask all your questions to our student ambassadors, who will be your guides during the event.
Please use this form to sign up for the Student for a Day event. The event does not have fixed dates. The date is up to you and our student ambassadors and depends on your schedule, and the schedule of our programme. After filling out the form, our student ambassadors will contact you a.s.a.p. to decide on a day for you to join us in Leiden. Please note that between 15 December and 2 February, there are no regular classes to attend.
PRE-university classes
Leiden University's Pre-University Classes (PRE-Classes) are an educational programme specially designed for motivated and talented students in the final three years of secondary school. Science for Sustainable Societies also offers PRE-classes. During our PRE-classes you will attend lectures from professors in various fields such as ecology, environmental sciences, and anthropology. You will also work with your fellow students on a group assignment(s) and have an excursion.
