Welcome to LUC from Fortuna and DISC!
During this session, you will have a first contact with one of the core organs of your (future) student life at LUC. Run by students, for students, Fortuna is the association responsible for the committees that you will get to know soon enough, offering all types of activities ranging from sports to arts and (almost) everything in between. You will get the opportunity to meet and talk to your student representatives in addition to the Fortuna board members.
The Diversity and Inclusion Student Committee (DISC) is here to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. We are advocating for and fostering a welcoming environment for all students. With seven vibrant subcommittees—Femco, Interfaith, LGBTQIA+, Money Matters, Race and Ethnicity, Accessibility and Disability, and Stronger Together—we are dedicated to themes of intersectionality, decoloniality, and (of course) diversity and inclusion.
In a Capitalist world, money matters! Therefore, LUC's Money Matters committee will give you some tips and tricks on finances during your time at LUC.
