Pre-arrival Activities!
Enrolling in university is an exciting life transition, which requires some preparation. We have two online events to help you do just that!
Pre-Departure Webinar: Prepare for your arrival
Whether you live nearby or far away: starting a Bachelor's programme is a new chapter in life. There's lots of things to prepare or to learn about:
- Administrative things to arrange: How to make sure you're fully registered at LUC? What other administrative steps are there?
- Things to know: what to do when studying with a disability? What does the support structure at LUC look like?
- Things to pack: what does an LUC studio apartment look like? What clothes do we recommend you bring?
- ...and many things to look forward to!
This webinar aims to tackle all this and more, with plenty of room to ask our students all your burning questions.
Parents are welcome to join the Pre-Departure webinar. We offer this webinar twice to accommodate different time zones. The session will be recorded, and the recording will be shared afterwards.
Sign up for the session of your choice
Both sessions take place on June 10. We will schedule an additional session later in the summer for students who are accepted after June 10.
Pre-Union: Online Meetup
Are you excited to meet your future classmates? Join the online Pre-Union meeting! This meeting is coordinated by our intro week mentors, and is hosted on zoom. The focus is on socializing: meeting the first members of your LUC community and your intro week mentors.
The Pre-Union takes place online, so that students from all corners of the globe have an opportunity to join. We offer the meeting twice in order to accommodate different time zones; the idea is for you to join one session; the one that best suits your schedule. Since the focus is on socializing, we will not record this meeting, and you join it without your parents.
