Pre-arrival Activities!
Enrolling in university is an exciting life transition, which requires some preparation. We'll try our best to help you do just that!
Whether you live nearby or far away: starting a Bachelor's programme is a new chapter in life. There's lots to prepare or to learn about:
- Administrative things to arrange: How to make sure you're fully registered at LUC? What other administrative steps are there?
- Things to know: what to do when studying with a disability? What does the support structure at LUC look like?
- Things to pack: what does an LUC studio apartment look like? What clothes do we recommend you bring?
- ...and many things to look forward to!
We have captured this information in two different ways: a Pre-Departure Guide and Pre-Departure Webinar.
Information to absorb: Guide & Webinar
Prefer a PDF or rather a webinar to have things explained? Check the resources below to get ready for a smooth start at LUC!
Pre-Departure guide
The Pre-Departure Guide has been composed by our intro week mentors and gradually expanded over the years. They have done their best to make the guide as complete as possible.
Pre-Departure webinar: recording
Our Residential Assistants hosted a Pre-Departure webinar to talk you through all the prep that's needed before enrolling at university. We hosted the session twice, to accommodate different time zones, and although there were different presenters, the content is the same. Check the recordings below!
