Pre-Arrival Activities

Enrolling in university is an exciting life transition, which requires some preparation. We have scheduled a couple of events to help you do just that!

Pre-Union & Pre-Departure Events

There's stuff you need to prepare & to know: we offer a Pre-Departure guide and webinars to prepare you for all you need to know to start studying at LUC.

And let's not forget about a 'soft landing'! In order to socialize and get to know your future classmates, we offer Pre-Union events!

Pre-Departure Webinar | Friday, June 26

Whether you live nearby or far away, starting a Bachelor's programme is a new chapter in life. There are lots of things to prepare or to learn about:

  • Administrative things to arrange: How to make sure you're fully registered at LUC? What other administrative steps are there?
  • Things to know: what to do when studying with a disability? What does the support structure at LUC look like?
  • Things to pack: What does an LUC studio apartment look like? What clothes do we recommend you bring?
  • ...and many things to look forward to!

This webinar aims to tackle all this and more, with plenty of room to ask our students all your burning questions. The Pre-Departure webinars are scheduled on:

  • June 26, 14:00 CEST (updated time!)
  • June 26, 18:00 CEST

Parents are welcome to join the Pre-Departure webinar. We offer this webinar twice to accommodate different time zones; it is not necessary to attend both sessions. The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be shared afterwards.

Online Pre-Union | Thursday, July 9

Are you excited to meet your future classmates? Join the online Pre-Union to learn who makes up the LUC Class of 2029 and find your new friends! This meeting is hosted on Zoom. The focus is on socializing: meeting the first members of your LUC community and your intro week mentors. Let us know if you will be joining us with the link below!
