About this lecture

In this lecture, we will address male-male homicide, the most prevalent form of interpersonal lethal violence worldwide. We will discuss the extent to which this form of homicide can be framed as gender-based and explore both the theoretical and practical implications of this perspective. Building on the discussions from the previous lecture, we will examine how masculinity serves as a foundation for understanding male-male homicide. Finally, we will explore how statistical patterns inform the design of predictive theoretical hypotheses and contribute to the development of intervention policies.
