The role of children and young people in South Sudan’s peacebuilding process by Lucy Opoka
In this ELS lab meeting, Lucy will present her preliminary findings and her experience conducting empirical research.
Lucy’s research investigates the role of children and young people in South Sudan’s peacebuilding process. Based on extensive fieldwork and qualitative interviews, her study examines the degree to which children and young people are included in local peacebuilding processes in South Sudan.The aim of her research is to understand the extent to which inclusive peacebuilding is important in effectively addressing conflict.
