The causes of hunger are multifaceted, with poverty, conflict, and natural disasters playing major roles. Climate change exacerbates these issues further. SDG 2, which seeks to ‘end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture’, as a focal point, this course examines the legal dimensions surrounding access to food and food security, both in times of peace and armed conflict.
