My academic career started in 2016 at the SPU. During my bachelor I developed an interest in biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. In 2020, I started with the master Medical Chemistry and Drug Discovery at the Sichuan University . In the research project for my master’s degree, I discovered a novel antagonist and verified the important role of this target in various mouse models of inflammation. Meanwhile, I discovered a novel high-selective cannabinoid receptor agonist with an IC50 of 21nM, hoping to provide potential therapeutic candidates for the treatment of inflammatory pain. In 2023 I started in the Pomplun Lab where I will develop a platform for self-encoded library screenings (SELs) , which can subsequently be used to identify novel chemical matter able to inhibit PRIs.
