Robbert Bruggeman is affiliated as a doctoral candidate (Meijers PhD candidate) with the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Leiden University. His research focuses on the intersection of digitalization within executive agencies and the pursuit of People-Centred administrative law. Robbert completed his bachelor's degrees in Law at Leiden University (LLB) and International Justice at Leiden University College (BA, magna cum laude), and his master's degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law (LLM) at Leiden University. Following his studies, he worked as a research and teaching assistant for two years at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative law, during which he held a temporary position as a legal researcher for a year within the WetSuite project. His research interests encompass digitalization within executive agencies, the regulation of algorithms and administrative soft law, and the potential of digital tools for People-Centred administrative law.
