Alex Reuneker is a lecturer at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics.
Research
In the NWO-funded project 'The Persuasiveness of Grammar', I investigate the use and rhetorical goals of conditional constructions (if, then) in spoken and written discourse. I do so by combining a construction grammatical approach to different (lexical and grammatical) markers of conditionality with pragmatic analyses of the context of use.
