High-Tech Innovation Specialisation
Programme structure
The High-Tech Innovation specialisation consists of a 60 EC track alongside the students' core MSc programme: Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
The 60 EC track involves
- 27 EC elective courses from the HTI core curriculum
- The 3 EC course Orientation HTI
- A 30 EC research training project, preferably in collaboration with an industrial partner
Students will select 2–3 electives from their own discipline (max. 10–12 EC), with other courses chosen to broaden their interdisciplinary expertise.
All core and programme-specific courses must be completed before starting the research project, unless an exception is granted by the Board of Examiners.
