European Commission appoints Anna Marhold as 'EU Trade Champion'

Anna Marhold, Assistant Professor at the Grotius Centre of International Legal Studies, was appointed 'EU Trade Champion' by the Directorate-General for Trade and Economic Security of the European Commission.

Anna Marhold, Assistant Professor at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, has been appointed ‘EU Trade Champion’ by the Directorate-General for Trade and Economic Security of the European Commission. The EU Trade Champion Network is an interdisciplinary group of selected international trade experts from the EU Member States. They are invited to interact on EU Trade and Economic Security policy with high-level policy makers at the European Commission, as well as within their own Member States. The aim is to foster a better understanding of the impact of EU trade.

In June, Marhold will be invited by European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič to participate in a brainstorming session within the framework of the Trade Champion Network on the challenges and opportunities the EU faces in its trade relations with third countries.
