Leiden second place in the 2023 Jessup Law Moot Court Competition
The Leiden University team won second place in the highly competitive Dutch National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Amsterdam in February 2023. The team did well in both the written and oral segments of the competition, and Marleen Onnekes was awarded the prize for best oralist.
The team, consisting of Fan Huang, Sofía Medina Sánchez, Marleen Onnekes, Rubí Marquez Alonso and Karla Lüders Zepeda, represented Leiden University with remarkable professionality and made great impressions on the judges. Their coaches, Lianne Baars and Samantha Orzoco Menéndez, could not have been more proud of their performance!
