The Department of Company Law and Financial Law conducts research in areas including the law of legal entities and corporations, the law of financial obligations and liability, corporate governance, sustainability, national and EU financial supervision, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency law, and international business law. 

Research programme Coherent Private Law

The research conducted by the Department of Company Law and Financial Law is part of the research programme Coherent Private Law. This research programme is linked to the faculty research focus area Interaction between Legal Systems, which focuses on the interaction between different areas of law, on both a national and international level.
