The Expertise Centre Gender-Based Violence analyzes how social norms and masculinity contribute to gender-related violence and how boys and men can be actively involved in prevention.

The book Taking Lives is based on interviews with men who have committed fatal violence against their partners. The study offers insight into the life stories and social circumstances underlying femicide. ow Boys Deflect Responsibility for Street Harassment investigates how social class and ethnicity influence the way boys and men respond to interventions and explores how they can be effectively involved in prevention.

Additionally, the NWO-Veni project Why is sexual violence still not a men's problem? focuses on the question of how men and masculinity can be included more effectively and systematically in policies and interventions against sexual violence.
