EMPA Network Exchange

Leiden University is part of the European Masters in Public Administration (EMPA) Network. The EMPA Network is a consortium of leading European universities in the field of public administration and policy. During an extra, third semester in the fall or spring, students of the Master Public Administration can take courses at one of these qualified partner universities. If the exchange is successful, the student will receive the EMPA certificate. For more information on the application deadline and selection procedure, please contact the international exchange coordinators at the International Office FGGA.

Leiden Leadership Programme

Are you looking for new ways to challenge yourself while getting your master’s degree? Are you interested in leadership and would you like to increase your societal impact? Then you should apply for the Leiden Leadership Programme (LLP)! The LLP is a one-year 15 EC honours programme for talented, ambitious master’s students from Leiden, Delft, and Rotterdam, taking place between November and June. Through seminars, skills training and a consultancy assignment, the Programme will equip you with the knowledge, insights and skills required in the field of leadership, so as to increase your societal impact. The ultimate way to prepare for your future career!

Master Honours Classes

The Master Honours Classes are part of Leiden’s honours education for master’s students, which is organised by the Honours Academy. Honours education is small scaled and the focus in Master Honours Classes is on creating sociatal impact. The fact that each Honours Class is made up of students from all disciplines gives these students the opportunity to learn about other fields of study. Each year, master’s students have the opportunity of taking one of the Master Honours Classes.
