In the programme you will:
- develop your leadership skills
- gain insight into your strengths and weaknesses
- be involved in an interdisciplinary environment with other international students
Moot Court Competitions
Leiden Students can apply to participate in the B.M. Telders International Law Moot Court competition, which is organised by the Faculty of Law and its students. Leiden students can also participate in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, International Criminal Court Trial Competition, Kalshoven International Humanitarian Law Competition and the International Humanitarian Law Clinic.
High-profile internships
If you want to further develop your professional skills, you can benefit from the LL.M. Internship Recommendation Programme. While the Programme cannot guarantee an internship, it has a good track record. This is an internal competitive process with the aim of selecting the best candidates who will be institutionally endorsed in their internship applications to selected international institutions and organizations that practice international law.
