Master Honours Classes & Challenges
At Leiden University, students with enquiring minds are encouraged to take on an extra challenge alongside their regular studies. Master Honours Classes & Challenges are small-scale, interdisciplinary courses that revolve around tackling a complex issue for society or a partner organisation.
Master Honours Classes & Challenges (5 or 10 EC) enable participants to come into contact with students and theories of various academic disciplines. They learn to apply these theories to practice in order to make a societal impact, or work within groups to solve a real-life problem of a partner organisation. Each year, master’s students have the opportunity of participating in one of the Master Honours Classes & Challenges.
