Paul van Trigt is an Assistant Professor in social history. His research and teaching focus on histories of in- and exclusion of people in multiple contexts in the modern period and the role of concepts such as human rights, the welfare state, religion, disability, ethnicity in these histories. Anne Heyer is an Assistant Professor in modern history with a research interest in the ideas and practices of political participation in different European countries (1800-today).
