Note: You may have noticed that the graduates we interviewed for this series are all Dutch. This is due to the availability and a conscious decision to limit long-distance travel for these interviews, as many of our international graduates are now working abroad. While this provides a representative image of the sectors our graduates end up working in, it does not fully capture the range of students. Graduate stories - in numbers
Graduates rated our programme with a total score of 4.1 out of 5. Compared to other master programmes in the fields of governance and environmental sciences, the master scored especially high on:
- Contribution of program to the skill of integrating different fields in solving complex problems (4.1 / 5.0)
- Contribution to the skill of different ways of thinking or new ideas (4.0 / 5.0)
- Contribution to the skill of effectively working together (4.4 / 5)
79% of the graduates would gladly choose this master again
84% of the graduates say the master prepares you well for the job market
80% of the graduates are currently employed (with over 50% having a fixed-term contract), 10% are pursuing an academic career in the form of a PhD, and 10% are in between jobs / undisclosed.
About the data: each year a national survey is sent out to graduates of Dutch Master programmes to collect data on how they experienced the programme, and their career paths after graduating. These answers were given by the master students who graduated between October 2021 and September 2022.
